One-to-One Threshold Support

Grounded accompaniment through life’s in-between moments

this offering is for people moving through a threshold: a time when the old ways are no longer sufficient, and the new way has not yet taken shape.

You may be experiencing a spiritual crisis, vocational calling or questioning, illness, grief, parenthood, identity change, or a quiet sense that something fundamental is shifting.

These moments can feel disorienting, tender, and difficult to name, especially when familiar supports don’t quite fit.

I offer one-to-one support as a Threshold Guide, working primarily through Insight Herbalism: a relational, embodied approach to healing that centres listening, presence, and connection with the living world.

What This Support Is Like

Sessions are spacious, gentle, and responsive.

Rather than fixing or directing, the work focuses on:

  • Slowing down and listening to what is already present

  • Supporting your nervous system and embodied awareness

  • Making meaning of what is emerging

  • Staying in relationship with uncertainty rather than rushing

Insight Herbalism forms the central framework in these sessions, inviting relationship with plants as living allies during times of transition. Other practices may arise organically, always in response to your needs.

“When first meeting Ben he immediately made me feel calm and the space he was working in was simple and relaxing. Ben guided and reassured me, helping to communicate with the parts of myself that I felt afraid to address alone.”

- Becca

“Ben’s honesty and level of communication prior to our meeting was deeply comforting and informative, so I felt at ease from the very beginning. Ben has a very calm and nurturing manner and I felt very safe in his presence, exactly what I needed when doing work around grief and vulnerability.”

This Work May Support You If You Are:

  • In a period of spiritual crisis, awakening, or existential questioning

  • Living with illness and seeking support alongside medical care

  • Questioning vocation, direction, or identity

  • Moving through grief, separation, parenthood, or major life change

  • Feeling “between worlds” and unsure how to orient yourself

You do not need to know exactly what is happening, only that something is shifting and asking for attention.

How I Work

Sessions are one-to-one and shaped collaboratively.

They may include:

  • Insight Herbalism practices with plants

  • Embodied listening and reflective conversation

  • Imaginal or symbolic exploration

  • Shamanic Healing and Journeying, when appropriate

  • Gentle ritual, Ancestors, or Earth-honouring practices

All work is consent-based, trauma-aware, and paced to support integration rather than intensity.

I offer this work in person (Frome, Somerset, Uk) and online.
