What This Work Is Like

Sessions focus on:

  • Building relationship with plant allies

  • Embodied listening and sensory awareness

  • Reflection on life and work from a more-than-human perspective

  • Simple ritual when it supports grounding or marking change

This is not initiatory or crisis-oriented work.
It is about cultivation, continuity, and relationship.

a Session May Include

  • Dialogue and guidance into relationship with a specific plant

  • Insight Herbalism practices such as tea tasting and imaginal journeying that support plant connection and inner listening

  • Exploration with sound, movement, or Eloquence (poetic language)

  • Shamanic Journeying and Ancestor work

  • Bodywork where appropriate to support embodiment and attunement to the plants

A Grounded Approach to Ritual

Ritual here is not about performance, belief, or spectacle.

It is approached as a human way of creating meaning and coherence during times of passage, healing, or self-exploration, helping something be acknowledged, released, or welcomed.

All ritual work is:

  • Simple and non-dramatic

  • Invitational and consent-based

  • Shaped collaboratively

  • Responsive to your needs and capacity

Nothing is imposed. Everything emerges through listening.

“It was a beautiful and heart opening session. Ben held a welcoming space, a safe space, to be open and explore new understanding of myself in a new setting. He allowed me access to a forgiveness and love that I needed reminding of.”

“The session allowed space for deepening into those more challenging feelings that I tend to close my doors to.

It felt very supportive to start building a dream team of companion plants that helps one to remember the beauty, to feel inspired, to dream and to pay attention to what we sometimes don’t.".
