IMBOLC

Join us for a deeply rooted men’s circle grounded in the wisdom of plants, the land, and the turning of the Celtic Wheel of the Year. Our first gathering takes place on 1 February (Imbolc), the festival that celebrates the first quiet stirrings of spring, when the land begins to awaken and light returns.

This circle is guided by the practice of Insight Herbalism, as taught by herbalist Nathaniel Hughes, an experiential, relational, and embodied approach to plant connection. Each session offers a space to come into direct relationship with a single plant through a series of gentle, sensory doorways, such as tea tasting, mindful witnessing, movement, and guided journeying.

Together we will:

  • Sit in circle with a shared plant, exploring its qualities and character through a number of perceptive doorways: such as taste, presence and movement.

  • Practice mindful witnessing, listening with the body and breath to what arises.

  • Engage in somatic and imaginative journeying, opening to the subtle intelligence of the plant and the land.

  • Honour the turning of Imbolc, reflecting on what within us is ready to awaken and grow.

This gathering will be held in the beautiful rewilded land of 42 Acres in their traditional yurt .

No prior herbal knowledge is needed, just a spirit of curiosity, openness, and respect for the living world.
